A note from Rob,
Our student ministry is simple here at Thomasville Baptist. We lead students to Christ, disciple them, and send them out. One person cannot effectively disciple 100 + students at the same time so we use small groups. My heart’s desire is that when the student’s leave our ministry they are not leaving because they are too old but because they are called to do ministry elsewhere. We encourage them to live a life that is set apart in whatever God has called them to do right now. They may be called to be a doctor, teacher, artist, lawyer, or preacher in the future but right now what has God called them to be. We challenge them to seek God’s wisdom for the ministry that God wants them to do right now. God has blessed our student ministry because we have put God’s Word in the forefront. We know that student’s will be able to conquer the temptations that they are faced with if they have God’s Word on their heart. We train our students to study and teach God’s Word chronologically. We have a worship service on Wednesday nights @ 6 P.M. geared strictly towards our youth and college students. We also have a great Sunday School @ 9:45AM for 7th thru 12th grade upstairs on the 3rd floor. We want them to know what they are teaching so they will be ready in and out of season to share the Good News.
